Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Petite Tales, made and operated by Bitfuzed (PVT) LTD (“BitFuzed”, “we”), on iPhone, iPad and Android. By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Who it’s for

Petite Tales is for families to enjoy with young children. A parent or guardian should set it up, make any purchases and fill in children’s profiles. The grown-up parts of the app sit behind a parent gate; please don’t share how to open it with your child.

The free story

Without a subscription, the app picks one library story a week at random, which you can replay as often as you like that week.

Petite Tales Plus

• Plus is a monthly ($7.99) or yearly ($79.99) subscription through Google Play or, on iPhone and iPad, the App Store. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country and currency.
• The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, which includes 3 personal stories. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the store you subscribed through (Google Play, or the App Store through your Apple Account) charges the yearly price.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel them where you bought them: on iPhone and iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Plus includes 10 personal stories each calendar month. Unused stories don’t carry over.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought from (Apple or Google Play) under its refund policy.

Extra stories

Extra personal stories cost $1.99 each through Google Play or the App Store. They don’t expire and are used only after the month’s allowance, and they stay usable if Plus ends.

Stories made with AI

Library tales are our own retellings of public-domain stories, written, painted and narrated with the help of AI and reviewed before they’re published. Personal stories are written, painted and narrated automatically by AI (Google’s Gemini) from the choices you make, and nobody reviews them before you see them. We ask for gentle, calm bedtime stories and Google’s own safety filters apply, but a picture or sentence can occasionally come out wrong or odd. We suggest a grown-up reads a new personal story first, and please tell us if anything seems unsuitable.

Using the stories

The library, the app’s pictures and Ollie belong to Bitfuzed (PVT) LTD. Personal stories are made for your family: you’re welcome to read, keep and share them with family and friends, but not to sell them or use them commercially.

Only describe children you’re the parent or guardian of, or have permission from their parent or guardian to include. Don’t type other people’s personal details, or anything unkind, into a story idea.

Your stories and the backup

Personal stories are saved on your phone and kept in your family’s backup while you subscribe. The backup is deleted 90 days after Plus ends. Stories on your phone stay until you delete them or uninstall the app. See the privacy policy for how your information is handled.

Changes to the app

We keep improving Petite Tales and may change or remove features or tales. If we make a change that affects what you pay for, we’ll tell you in the app.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable and kind, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Petite Tales in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
