In one sentence

Petite Tales is a cozy bedtime-story app for children: gentle tales from around the world, painted and read aloud by Ollie the story owl, with new stories that star your child.

The story

Bedtime is the one part of the day a phone shouldn’t take over. Petite Tales is built to end the day gently: dim Dusk colours by default, a narrator that keeps reading with the screen locked, a “Just listen” mode that hides the words, and a goodnight screen where Ollie the owl falls asleep and the screen fades almost to black. The library retells old public-domain tales, from Aesop and Andersen to Anansi and the Jataka tales, softly enough for bedtime. With Plus, families can make new stories starring their child, painted from a description they choose, never from a photo.
