How can we help?

Write to contact@bitfuzed.com. A real person reads every message. Tell us your phone model and what you were doing; a screenshot helps.

The grown-ups’ gate

Settings, purchases, reports, deleting stories and links out of the app ask you to tap three numbers that are written out in words, such as “seven, two, four”. If you tap a wrong number, new ones appear.

Narration stops when the screen locks

Petite Tales keeps reading with the phone or tablet locked. On iPhone and iPad it plays in the background like music, so a call, an alarm or another app’s sound can pause it. On Android, if it stops, your phone may be pausing apps to save battery: open Android Settings → Apps → Petite Tales → Battery and choose “Unrestricted”.

A library story won’t open

Each tale needs the internet the first time it opens, then it plays from the phone. If the phone has cleared space (iPhone, iPad and Android may all do this when storage runs low), a tale may need downloading again.

A personal story is taking a while

The story opens as soon as the first page is ready, and the rest keeps painting. If you lose connection or close the app, it carries on where it stopped next time. If a part still can’t be made, the story shows a retry option. On a busy evening the storyteller may ask you to try again in a moment.

Managing Plus

Subscriptions are handled by the store you bought from, and only that store can change or cancel them. In the app, open Settings (past the grown-ups’ gate) → Petite Tales Plus → Manage subscription, or go there directly:

  • iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Petite Tales.
  • Android: open Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Petite Tales.

Plus works on every phone and tablet signed in to your family, whichever store it was bought in; it is always managed in the store it was bought in, by the account that bought it.

New phone or reinstall: restoring Plus

If you signed in before, sign in with the same account in Settings. Otherwise use the same Apple Account (iPhone or iPad) or Google account (Android) you subscribed with, then open Settings → Petite Tales Plus → Restore purchases. The steps are the same on iPhone, iPad and Android. Plus, your personal stories and any extra stories come back. If stories are missing, tap “Restore stories from backup” in Settings.
